The Cabra Bridge in Dublin 7 has been renamed The Harry Clarke Bridge
An original stain-glass window was recently purchased by the Hugh Lane gallery. The small panel was part of a larger window in the League of Nations Building in Geneva, Switzerlandin 1925. The Work depicts a scene from Liam O’ Flaherty’s novel, Mr Gilhooley, showing a partially nude dancer, Nelly, outrageous at the time ! The window was to honour Irish literary
figures such as Yeats, O’Casey and Joyce.
